Histon Bowls Club has arranged for defibrillator training to take place at the Rec, allowing anyone in the community to learn the skills that may save a life.
The one-hour training session will take place at 2pm on 21 April 2026 in the Meeting Room at the Recreation Ground Pavilion.
The defibrillator training is being led by Magpas, the Air Ambulance service for the communities of Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and the East of England.
Magpas Air Ambulance’s community CPR and defibrillator training sessions include information on cardiac arrests and how to spot them, as well as practical training with the use of training manikins and defibrillators and how to perform effective CPR.
Organisers say that anyone from the village wishing to attend is welcome.
