Two camera workshops will see amateur photographers head to the stands at Histon FC this October.
As part of Cambridge Photography Month Campkins cameras are coming to the Bridge Road club and tickets are now available.
The family-run camera business will host the sessions: Raptors in Flight – Wildlife Photography; and Light Like a Pro – Studio Photography, both led by Bill Lawton, a Cambridge-based photographer with nearly thirty years’ experience. Attendees should bring their own camera, lens and spare battery to participate in hands-on demonstrations at the football club, learn new techniques and try out the experts’ equipment.
Raptors in Flight also includes the option to purchase a Spectator Ticket for £15 giving the option to watch the demonstrations and birds in flight from the stands. A pitchside photography pass will cost £65.
This is the tenth year that Campkins have taken part in Cambridge Photography Month, a series of workshops, photo walks, and experiences across the city culminating on the 17-18 October with the Cambridge Photography Show.
Light Like a Pro – Studio Photography is at Histon FC from 6-8pm on Friday 2 October; and Raptors in Flight is at Histon FC from 3-5pm on Friday 23 October.
