Cambridge Housing Society (CHS Group), a charitable housing association and social enterprise, are recruiting for this role based at their head office on the Vision Park.
Technical Surveyor to provide technical support to the Compliance Team, working in the Property Services Department. Using your technical knowledge, you’ll also help to deliver and monitor the compliance programmes (identified as the ‘Big 6’ – fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, water and lifts), and the relevant technical contracts (Including supervision of contractors). As well as support, you’ll also deliver technical guidance, manage projects, conduct property inspections, define risk and scope of works and provide technical reports as required. You’ll assist in providing an effective and prompt compliance service for CHS and their customers, taking accountability for building safety, access concerns, customer outcomes and value-for-money at all times.
