Senior Optical Engineer to build a precision fluorescence imaging system to interrogate hundreds of millions of proteins for their potential to be the next breakthrough biologic therapeutic. Own the imaging subsystem of their second-generation Deep Screening platform. Analysis and optimisation of optical beam paths, including fluorescent signal chains. Coordination with suppliers and contractors to procure parts within project timelines. Optomechanical assembly and alignment. System integration, verification and validation activities. Development and maintenance of clear documentation including detailed engineering drawings, assembly procedures, and test reports.
