NIAB, a crop science organisation, are looking for this role based at their Park Farm location in Impington.
Seasonal Laboratory Analysts (Fixed term from 13 July to 11 September 2026) to support a range of activities within the Grain Quality/Biochemistry, Seed Pathology and Official Seed Testing (OSTS) teams which can include:
• Sample registration, administration and preparation
• Testing using a wide range of protocols and analytical techniques
• Media preparation
• Setting up of various microbiological tests
You will assist the laboratory in delivering grain and produce quality data from national field trials across a wide range of crop species and (if working within the Pathology team) will assist in a number of diagnostic tests both for farmers and breeders and also for large commercial studies.
