NIAB, a crop science organisation, are looking for this role based at their Park Farm location in Impington.
Seasonal Field Trial Technician in a practical, hands-on seasonal role working as part of a friendly and experienced field team during the growing season. You will spend much of your time working outdoors, with some glasshouse and laboratory work, supporting crop trials through accurate measurement, data recording, and general trial activity. The work is active and varied, no experience is necessary, and full training and personal protective equipment is provided. The role is full-time, working Monday to Friday. To make the most of daylight during the growing season, you will be expected to be on-site and ready to work by 8:00am. Finish times vary depending on workload, weather and stage of the season. You will be required to work on Good Friday and Easter Monday, and there may be occasional weekend or other bank holiday working during peak periods. Due to the seasonal nature of the work, taking a holiday may be limited at certain times unless agreed in advance. Fixed-term variable contract from 23 March to 29 August 2026.
